MEET THE KREWE

Cajun Fire Brewing Company was founded on Halloween 2011 by Jon Renthrope. The start-up brewery is operated by a team of young passionate individuals who lend there expertise to collectively produce a rich culturally stimulating experience in every pint.

Jon Renthrope

 

Jon Renthrope, founder and brewmaster of Cajun Fire Brewing Company, was born and raised in New Orleans, LA.  While attending the University of Florida, he became a connoisseur of different styles of beer which soon manifested into a deep appreciation of the craftmanship that goes into developing complex variations of beer.  Upon moving back to New Orleans, Jon recognized the opportunity to turn his passion for homebrewing into a full time career after concocting many styles unique to this culture and realizing a void in the local craft beer market - Thus Cajun Fire was born!  Jon is working diligently to see that Cajun Fire is made commercially available, promote artistic driven pursuits, and share Cajun Fire's innovative batches of beer with the world.

Adam Dawson

 

Adam Dawson, born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Highly creative and multifaceted Graphic Designer. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art Studies from the University of Florida in 2011. Adam believes that entrepreneurship is the back bone to American culture. He also believes that creativity is key to be unique in the world we live in today. Shortly after completing college, Adam started his own successful graphic design business. Dawson then took his entreprenurial spirit and his creative eye for design to the craft beer industry. As a co-founder of Cajun Fire Brewing he plans to push the "IT" factor for Craft Beers, while staying unique to the local culture of South Eastern Louisiana.

Courtney Wilson

 

Courtney Wilson, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana has professional experience in a ccounting (specifically in Federal, State, and Local Taxation) marketing, event planning and not for profit organizations. Courtney recieved her Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Florida State University in 2010. During her undergraduate tenure, she became aware of the demand for entrepreneurship with a purpose and gained an interest in corporate social responsibility. While in graduate school, Wilson gained an interest in brewing beer. With her business background, passion for corporate social responsibility, and love of craft beer, she inspires to help take Cajun Fire and the craft beer industry to a new level.

Jomarque Renthrope

 

New Orleans, Louisiana native, Jomarque “Marq” Renthrope, serves as the Process Chemist for CFBC.  He is an avid outdoorsman that loves to fish, cook, and enjoy the festive culture that his hometown is known for. Marq comes from a diverse industrial background in chemistry.  He is striving to contribute his knowledge of science and food into his ever-growing passion of beer brewing.  He lives by the motto of “work hard, play hard.” Cheers!

Paul Taylor

 

Paul Taylor – is a native of New Orleans, LA. Paul is a graduate of The University of Florida with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Anthropology and has professional experience in Management and Human Resources. He believes that through our acceptance of others we grow exponentially, allowing not only our experiences help shape our frames of reference but help mold our future generations. Sports enthusiast, outdoorsman and fitness proponent, he has enjoyed many different types of brews forming an admiration for the craft leading to the contributions and development of Cajun Fire Brewing.
